By having your veterinarian insert a small microchip, the size of a grain of rice, your pet will have a lifetime of protection. Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Clinic highly recommends getting your pet micro-chipped. This is the best way to make sure your lost pet has the best chance of being reunited with you.
It is very important following the insertion of the microchip that you register your pet with his or her microchip number so this information can be recorded with PetLink. CVVC also keeps this information in their system base so that we can help identify lost pets. For additional information, please ask one of our staff or you may go to PetLink.net.
We offer microchip implantation for the added safety of your pet. Microchips are the only permanent form of identification available and greatly increase the chance that you and your pet will be re-united if they become lost. We offer Res-Q chips that offer a no charge registration process and are ISO compliant (these work internationally).
